Livingston Park Street Water | Weekly update #2

Progress update: Western Municipal set up traffic control and began staging equipment and material last week. Traffic control plan was approved on Monday 9/23 and work began to shut down the 10” water main in Park Street prior to installing a new 10” valve to isolate the bursting limits. Contractor is preparing the bursting pits and uncovering water main connection points. Pipe was installed between 10th and 9th Street yesterday, 9/26.

Look ahead: Contractor is fusing pipe today and preparing for the weekend weather both with existing open pits, temporary water and traffic control. Next week will be more fusing and we anticipate getting two more runs of pipe installed.
